Who We Are
MRCPsych Birmingham is a renowned training program tailored to support and guide medical trainees through three years of core psychiatry training.
What We Do
Based at Uffculme Centre in Birmingham, we deliver a structured teaching program to meet the needs of our trainees, working towards the acquisition of MRCPsych and has been recently redesigned in line with the changes to the MRCPsych examinations.

Service Users
The Service User and Carer Group (SUC) are a group of previous and current service users and carers that provide specialist advice and input into the MRCPsych course.
They have a wide variety of experiences and backgrounds but all have experienced first hand the way mental health problems can impact our lives.
They have extensive knowledge of the mental health system and can bring invaluable insights into what it is like to experience our service or look after someone who is. They assist us by providing feedback to trainees on communication skills, particularly during training for the CASC exam.
They also advise regarding the direction that training should take and how trainees can become the best professionals that they can.
